Now that I think about it... how do we pretend like "nobody can train your child to be gay, you are born gay" if it's obvious that everybody was a pedo in Ancient Greece? If it was really nature, then we would have the same amount of pedos today. But obviously, it was nurture. Society said that this was good, this was right. So yes, children CAN be trained to be gay.

That's also not what I said. My point is rather their line of argument: If we don't see as many pedos today as we saw in Ancient Greece, it means that sexuality is in some way formed through "exposure" or its social acceptability; basically "awareness".
As such, the typical line of argument "just learning about that stuff won't make your child gay" doesn't seem to hold. If sexuality is SO malleable by exposure, awareness, acceptability that even pedophilia is made possible, homosexuality must be TOTALLY easy to be taught.

Most of the gay Christians I've met are universalists with varying degrees of qualification. Maybe Hans Urs von Balthasar's Dare We Hope or David Bentley Hart's That All Shall Be Saved would be of interest to you.

You could read through scripture and meditate on God's love for you. Isaiah 43:4 is a good verse.
