Short stories can never provide insight into characters as well as a novel or a novella.
In fact, there is little insight to life provided. Like I said don't be a fucking Plebe.

Yeah, Father Brown stories are low-tier at best. Still fun, pulpy fiction with a midbrow, theological twist. Thursday was better, but I agree that his essays/nonfiction were his best writings.
