I just don't like talking online.

>> No.21600907

Not really. I've met a few people IRL who browse this website, and they're about the kind of people you would suspect.

Go to your local library and either join or create a book club. This is literally just an online book club for schizos and autists.

yes, I wish I had enough money to go to a decent book shop which have a cafeteria and also happens to have a small theater, where I could go and meet intellectually curious and driven people, specially woman.
in theory is really nice.
I just need miracle to make it happen.

Whenever one's noema surfaces, this website allows one to communicate it an optimally ordered manner, facilitating dynamic, and almost instantaneous interaction: unless you are a simpleton looking for pheelings & "hype" from others, or are forming a squad for tactical purpses, what do you think that you would obtain from conversating with complete strangers, inperson, on topics that interest you, that you could not otherwise obtain here?

>> No.21603931

No, /lit/ is much better anonymous and behind a screen. It will lose its charm once you associate the nature of /lit/ with real people. I'd imagine that pretty much anyone who publicly proclaims their involvement in 4Chan is probably insufferable or at least significantly socially stunted. Unfortunately the only real means of intellectual discussion in America is through universities or by eventually just making some friends with similar interests at various places: libraries, bookstores, museums, bars, etc.

Nah, the magical thing about this place is that it's impersonal and anonymous.
I would like to know some non-normies irl though. I'm getting old and most of my friends embraced the settled down, consoomer lifestyle. Kinda lonely.
