sometimes one might ask why does anyone be a nerd as a teenager since it seems like such a bad idea, but just imagine the comfiness of reading 111 of those at like idk 14 or something in a suburb somewhere.

Deep Space Nine is a really good show. Don't let /lit/ make you feel lame.
Plenty of ST books ate quite kino.

The first 20 or so are good, but the series falls off fast.

that said they did publish a ton of Star Trek paperbacks for the various series, as well as spin offs, from the 1980s-2000s

Can you imagine how good it must feel to finish a book you really enjoy and see that there is still 110 left to go?

Agreed.
The Garak prologue/epilogue, 'A Stitch In Time', written by Andrew Robinson himself is amazing.

Actually a good series.

I'm holding out for the audio book, myself . Robinson claims he's narrating it.

To be fair 111 is probably low-balling the number of Star Trek books there are

Good luck on reading them, OP.

If I'm not mistaken, there are more than 700 books out there and none of them are canon. Until no long ago, it was really easy to get licenses to write Trek books, to the point that writing a fanfic wouldn't make a sense since you could basically get the license to make a commercial book out of it.

Really strange that people still cream themselves over TNG when DS9 was the better show on every conceivable level.
Enterprise is also better than TNG, for the record.
