Elephant anon here

I acquired a 1st edition set of Lord of the Rings. It's in overall great condition with no tanning to the dust jackets. There are some minor problems though which I'm gonna have fixed.

>the binding on fellowship is a little loose
>someone taped a protective cover to it 50 years ago which kept the dust jacket perfect but now the tape has melded into the pages
>I will have that removed too
>text block needs to be cleaned a little
>the slip case also needs to be repaired on the left side.

Anyway, pictures to come. I got this particular set for a steal. and yes, my wife took these photos.

these dust jackets are really amazing. I don't know why this tape is on here, as there is no tears.
