It’s been a couple months since the last read along crashed and burned, and I haven’t seen other /lit/reads since October. Is it time we finally sit down and finish this great book (with proper planning and accounting the different translations and their differing page counts)?

Also, since I only have the Maude version, could some kind anons help me count the different popular translations (Garnett, brigs, p&v, others I might have missed)? My version has around 1317 pages not counting the notes.

Maude is best, P&V is worst (in my opinion).

Didn't really participate in these threads but I did finish the book last year. It was pretty good but I still can't decide if I liked how abruptly Tolstoy tied up the Nikolai/Sonya/Maria thing. In a way I guess it feels very Russian. "Youth and its passions are silly and fickle, find a good rich religious woman and dedicate your life to farming."
