The only issues he has with leftist ideological aims is the fact that they usually necessitate industrial society. I read his manifesto and while he makes a lot of very good points, I feel his approach to solving the problems are pretty flawed. Technology isn't going to just go away and the real problem isn't really the technology itself, it's who owns and controls it, and how they use it. Our tech is made by a few corporations and no one else outside of academia even understands how it works, let alone builds their own. Instead of destroying all the tech, why not decentralize and distribute it fairly, and educate everyone to the point where they could build their own?

Like digital logic is actually very easy. People in middle or high school should be taught it as a matter of course. People use it to build shit in frickin' Minecraft all the time, they can use it to design their own chips and not be the property of Apple anymore.

Sounds good, doesn't work. Most technology is actually built on open source projects like Linux, which should work the way you expect them to. In reality, open source projects are run by an extremely small percentage of users, and even then, most of them get paid to do it.
