The character of Henry, his stupid cynicism, and all of the gay philosophy shit. It's not the homolust that turned Dorian rotten, he already had that rotten person potential within him. Ironically Henry tells Dorian near the end that no book can be poison, that society brings these things and projects them onto such books. He simply washes his hands of it and moves on.
