The greatest thinkers of all time were not people they were a homogenous sociological group headed under a single name

Homer
Aristotle
Euclid
The Holy Bible

Indeed, the greatest thinkers, if they ever did pen something themselves, had an inordinate amount of influence from past thinkers before them.

To think that a single individual could rival any of these 'authorship laughable. A man vs an entire society.

As long as you're having fun, it doesn't matter why you are reading it, but WA2 is basically about the main trio. Even in Mari's route, you can't really escape from the main heroines. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. My experience has been the opposite of yours. I absolutely adore Kazusa and couldn't care less about any of the other heroines, although I did like Haruki as a character. And I did read Mari's route too because I read IC and CC before the complete patch dropped. Having to wait for more than a year like the pitiful EOP that I am was pure suffering

Yeah. I've seen some complaints about the quality from people (or just one schizo) who claims to be JOP but as far as I can tell it's perfectly readable and it doesn't seem to be MTL. Unless you're learning JP or are willing to wait a few years for MTL to get really good, this is as good as it gets.

most the thinkers listed here would be functionally retarded outside of their (very) narrow domain. Is that really a great thinker? Hegel, Wittgenstein, Kant? The question wasn't "greatest philosophers" it was "greatest thinkers". Philosophy utilizes a very narrow subset of our thinking capabilities (which is why I said intellectualism isn't a high fidelity proxy for great thinking).

da vinci and leibniz outclass most of the names in this thread. But those are the conventional ones. The highest profile thinkers who belong in this thread are emperors/dictators/monarchs whatever as they had to think through a wide variety of issues, economy, war, public welfare, etc... I'd say Genghis Khan was a better thinker than most of the philosophers here.
