I stick to one or two word responses because I have no fluency when it comes to verbally communicating, so it's needless to say I never get the chance to use what some people consider "big words".

I do remember a specific case where someones lack of vocabulary skills caused for an awkward situation. A girl in class gave me some hypothetical situation, I think it was about a friend of hers -- anyway, I remember responding with "the latter sounds best" and she said "what ladder?"

How is anyone suppose to know what the limitation of another person's vocabulary? Do i judge by their race oe what they're wearing? These kinds of preconception could always be wrong; looks can be deceiving, and I don't really want to offend anyone. These kind of social situations scare me. I think I'll just stick to not talking to anyone.
