Where did he "admit" this? In the 30s and 40s he was rumoured to have had special powers to the point that people were afraid of him, and he wrote extensively about transcendent experiences and bodies of consciousness. Also he isn't really occult, he is more about spirituality and initiation, which was practiced routinely by the upper castes in all Traditional/normal civilizations. Occultism is a degradation of these practices.

It's strange how little the Intro to Magic books are discussed. They are indispensable for someone wanting to study/practice esotericism/initiation starting from a rigorous Traditionalist foundation.

And likewise for the Hermetic Tradition. Is there any other widely published book that exposites the Hermetic-Alchemical Tradition so thoroughly and openly? I guess most people are filtered by it, which is understandable, since it has to be one of the most difficult books to follow that I've read.

Guénon is great for theory but as for the practical side, Evola excels.
