Competition is good in a free market. More like he's not a beggar and is perfectly happy with his life which is really the bottomline goal of even having a portfolio. Just making enough returns to be satisfied with how you live. What's more is he isn't one one of those seething poorfags who hate wealthy people for being wealthy. Plus his happiness is contagious especially when he laughs. He has one of those laughs that make other people laugh, and he's usually the first to point out his faults. I think he's doing a great thing. But /lit/'s reaction to him further cements my problem with the internet. Everyone is just reacting to the idea of him, and the image of him, like a meme. Just like Ted Kaczynski's handful of pics have also traveled millions of miles and into millions of hard drives, yet the actual idea of living in nature and with nature that both of these men (ideally) should promote is lost on 99% of commentators, as they sit in their rooms and mindlessly through scroll apps like Kuroba and view it as just another piece of content for the mill.
