Oriental Magic by Idries Shah
I want to read some WW2 history books, perhaps Hitler's War by Irving
Pic related or Adidas Samba shoes.

Lets see /lit/'s favorite shoe type.

>> No.21451866

just got blindsight done, jesus christ random 3 pages of that book have more thought out ideas than most whole novels
currently reading vinge's fire upon the deep, again im extremely interested by the ideas of how space zones influence thinking
next planning to read bester's tiger tiger because i keep hearing good things, and i have to reread heinleins starship troopers because i forgot the ideas of that book
i really like themes and world building and ideas lol

my favorite shoes are 'chemical-technical protection' boots i keep getting for free due to nature of my work
not only are they free, but they are also orders of magnitude higher quality than any civilian shoe i can find
with such shoes, i dont care if bricks and debris fall on my foot, they also double as concealed weapon, i can step over all sorts of live electrical wires, they are extremely durable and practical, personally dont care for aesthetics but i like how they look too, and are designed to help you stand on your feet all day while carrying heavy loads
>paying for categorically inferior footwear instead of getting superior free variant
fucking civvies i swear, bet your foot would burn in a fire too lmao

Nothing planned yet, but if I'm still feeling legal history I've been looking at finding a copy of the Cravath Firm and its Predecessors by Swaine...not a lawyer or anything, I slept through the LSAT each time I signed up (twice)

Yeah, they're Blundstones. Shoe purists and aficionados wouldn't recommend them because the brand shifted its manufacturing from Australia to Asia while still going on about "muh australian heritage", but I still recommend them because of their outstanding comfort.

Thats very cool anon but arent you scared of mountain lions, bears or skin-walkers? Just started Hyperion. Not sure if this is going to work, but I have an omnibus so I'll read the whole series depending on.

I wear Adidas sandals at basically all times, even in the winter. Lately I've been sporting a low cut boot because I work where there are a lot smackheads leaving needles everywhere.
