just got blindsight done, jesus christ random 3 pages of that book have more thought out ideas than most whole novels

next planning to read bester's tiger tiger because i keep hearing good things, and i have to reread heinleins starship troopers because i forgot the ideas of that book
i really like themes and world building and ideas lol

my favorite shoes are 'chemical-technical protection' boots i keep getting for free due to nature of my work
not only are they free, but they are also orders of magnitude higher quality than any civilian shoe i can find
with such shoes, i dont care if bricks and debris fall on my foot, they also double as concealed weapon, i can step over all sorts of live electrical wires, they are extremely durable and practical, personally dont care for aesthetics but i like how they look too, and are designed to help you stand on your feet all day while carrying heavy loads

Yeah, they're Blundstones. Shoe purists and aficionados wouldn't recommend them because the brand shifted its manufacturing from Australia to Asia while still going on about "muh australian heritage", but I still recommend them because of their outstanding comfort.
