Hard pass. There is not a single Frenchman (Beside Rene Descartes) or Anglo that wrote philosophy of value.

Anyone who takes Freud, Sarte, and Kafka seriously is deranged. There is no debate to be had over it.

You appear to be the deranged one if you can’t take someone like Kafka seriously

>> No.21414359

>>21414124
What do you mean by “take seriously”? Deleuze certainly didn’t think Freud had any redeemable qualities, but the damage that his influence has wrought is certainly worth talking about and directing. Sarte I could take or leave, but Kafka is one of the best writers of his generation, seems retarded to lump him in there.

>> No.21418400

>>21414359
I mean, saying that deleuze found Freud not to have any redeeming qualities is just plain wrong.
Multiple times in Anti-Oedipus they state that there is value in his ideas, but applying it as the only lens to view human beings is not only minimizing the difference between all humans, but also downright harmful in many cases. Not all human experience can be explained through the oedipal triangle.
only because they criticized him and his theories does not mean they see them as useless.
