>third year of my theology degree

Taking 3 years to begin to regret something is usually a good sign. I bet you're just having a bad day.

I enjoy my degree a lot, it's just that career prospects are a bit of a blackpill. A theology degree is probably worth less to an employer than the paper it's written on

Some jobs only need a college degree, the subject is irrelevant. You'll be fine.

If nothing else, you could probably always just teach somewhere, public or private.

Why would you want to get a theology degree if you didn't plan to become a priest?

>> No.21409784

In my opinion, theology is still one of the more worthwhile degree fields.

Don't worry, many theology factories will be built next year.

How? What the hell kind of career were you expecting if not pastor or academic?

That's how some degrees are. I have a degree in archaeology, that shit is misery when it comes to career prospects. Half the dig-sites available YOU have to pay to get onto.
Just do what other anons said and find a job in some other field. It's retarded but many places just care about you having a degree in general.

This appears to be one of the saner threads about uni degrees, probably because it’s a Britbong thread. Which uni do you go to, OP?

Why not just write the next historically significant theological doctrine and spend the rest of your life as a visiting professor/giving lectures/selling books? It can’t be that hard, anon.

Why are frogposters so dumb.

Speaking from experience - secular comapnies will absolutely pass you over, but Christian companies will snap you up. The pay is worse, but the environment is typically friendlier and more relaxed. And, of course, you can look for work with your denomination.
