I need you anons to show me a book that will absolutely run me over with depression.
I'm talking something that might get my hopes up, or consistently lets me down on purpose.
I've read Let the right one In recently and found this book did a good job of fucking me up even after the end.
I'm looking for something that feels "real" despite it being fiction or otherwise.
I don't mind Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or whatever else.
I just want a book that will ruin my mood and my day without abandon.

Thanks.

Is Last exit to Brooklyn any good?
I had an ex in the past and she's only become a bigger whore since we last spoke.
If this shits on women and paints them as worthless sluts that they are then I'm all for it.
