I want to find basic literature on various Christian denominations. 5-10 books on theology of each major group of Christians: Orthodoxy, Catholicism, Non-Chalcedonian Christianity, Syriac Christianity, Anglicanism, Lutheranism, Calvinism, Pietism, Mennonism, Quakerism, Methodism, Adventism, etc.

You can also tell us about Georgian Orthodoxy. There is a theory that Pseudo-Dionysius was a Georgian (Peter the Iberian).

We had to share the Southern Caucasus for the last 3500 years. Cultural exchange and all.

Not much of a theory, is it? In Georgia he's widely known as one of the greatest men the country has produced. There is little to no doubt about his Georgian identity in the general public, which may be an issue, because some of them who aren't blindly motivated by Nationalist rhetoric can understand the possibility of Pseudo-Dionysius being a number of different people, perhaps multiple at once!
I fully trust Shalva Nutsubidze though. He was a great scientist.
I'm in no position to speak, but I can attest that our tiny nation has done some truly great things over the last 3000 years.

Start with Hagiography. "The Martyrdom of Saint Shushanik" is over 1500 years old by now. Continue onwards with "Saint Abo's Martyrdom" (he was an Arab convert). Finally, read the massive but very interesting "The Vita of Grigol Khandzteli".

You have to dig a little deeper there. It's quite esoteric knowledge since those brown fags had no support from Byzantium, unlike us who did keep our Diophysite views. They basically use Deuterocanonical passages that are moderately similar to ours.

If you're a Protestant, maybe. The first few centuries of Christianity didn't have a collectively-agreed-on biblical canon the way we do and a great deal of things like the procedures of liturgy and specific theology were passed down orally or by tradition rather than coming out of the NT alone.
