Kaas is his most famous and also probably the best start to really get to know his style. It's funny but deep down there is a pretty morbid view of humanity behind his work. Which is what makes it great.

Villa des Roses is my favorite by him. But it seems to be less loved by other people.
All his books are very short so easy reads
