is anyone else only happy when they completely unplug and focus on books?
It doesn't matter what I'm reading or how much I'm reading if I come on /lit/ to discuss it I end up with zoomer meme replies or people acting like I have bad taste (while never giving a suggestion of what 'good' taste is for them). Obviously I can't go to any other place for discussion on the internet because it's censored to fuck.

how do I find peace to just enjoy reading for what it is, but also fill the void left by having nobody irl to talk to about it?

>he comes here to discuss books
Lmao what a faggot
It's a shitposting board. Why would you need to discuss literature with anyone? It's literally the most solitary activity ever, it only happens in your head

This place is a distraction box that actively makes you a worse person.
Leave and save yourself

Write a blog abt your thoughts on the books you read. Link your email.
When you are writing the blog post make sure to put your heart into it. Noone will mail you unfortunately coz blogs don't matter. And if you want traction for your blog only things that work are making a YouTube channel and speak abt your thoughts but I've seen /lit/ shitting on booktubers. But I also saw /lit/ simping for R C walden. I think /lit/ approval depends on the quality of the content and mostly on how less of a narcissist you are.

it's not a bad idea, but like you said nobody will ever mail me, and I'm looking for discussion.
booktuber isn't the worst idea in the world though, at least people there seem to like reading

The internet has basically made you its bitch and has molded your dopamine reward circuity for its own ends. Even the frustration and anger you experience from the unending stream of zoomer idiocy gives you little squirts of exciting dopamine.

thanks anon this is very interesting, unfortunately it's the kind of needle in the haystack that keeps me coming back to this website. it does prove that I am better off reading books than sitting on here though

Probably hoping the place will rebound somewhat
