Is this a good gift for a widowed grandmother? She's still quite an avid reader into her 80s and lost her husband to cancer in her 40s. She's been talking about writing about her own life sometime so I thought this might offer some reflection and inspiration.

Maybe make it a couple of Didion's
I imagine you've read the synopsis. I came to it eventually after my mother's death some ten years later and even though it's very matter of fact journalism, it hit me hard. Don't know what the grandmother will think. Give her some options is my thinking.
