What are some Machiavellian books that talk about emotional/psychological manipulation and get into detail?

The best you could find aside Machiavelli himself are the aphorisms of Baltasar Gracián, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche. If I ever have children, I will make sure to have them study these works very carefully. Not because I want them to be le edgy machiavellians (in fact, I will raise them according to strict religious values) but because without being aware of this mindset it would be exceedingly hard to survive in this world without being eaten up like a sheep.
