Are female artists biologically confused?

>> No.2128194

Consider this. A male frog who is unattractive or weak will try to make itself sound more powerful by croaking through a drain pipe or a hollow tube to attract a mate. That is how an artist attracts a mate, whereas an athlete simply has to rely on appearance and charm.

So where does that put female artists?

Making art to attract a mate = terrible art.

I have always been most attracted to musicians and teachers. Talent and intellect obviously. As for looks... well geez, this isn't /soc/
OP, some people just aren't attractive, including many male authors.

Actually on-topic because it's based on a discussion in the book Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.

yeah seriously. oddly female artists tend not to get groupies in the same numbers as men do and the fewer writers there are doing the literary equivalent of playing acoustic guitar on the quad the better

Female artistso get groupies, they're just called masturbators and stalkers
