so you’ve avoided invoking the sneering laughs of your so-called peers that then would have demanded you get off your high horse and get a jobby at your local Tesco ™ ? seem’s like you’ve dodged a lot of trouble anon.

Your mom extending my penis 6 inches beyond the opening of her lips changed my life momentarily until I had to pull out and jerk off while thinking of something shameful, grunting while she waited impatiently, sweating, until I finally came onto her ass/back and pretended it was alright. Haha gottem

some books have completely changed the way I look at the world and life and love and whatnot, yet none of them have magically enabled me to break out of my self-destructive viscous cycles

Books that have changed my life
>catcher in the rye - read this when I was 11, didn’t really get it, but cemented me as a “reader” personality among all the adults I knew and so was always encouraged to read and discuss books with adults which was very formative. Read it once every two years until I turned twenty.
>blood meridian - read this when I was a semi-söyish loser in college, which was a change since I was a football chad in high school. This book qualified masculinity and the intrinsic-in-the-dna quality of man’s propensity to violence made me go back to sports and lifting and join a fraternity, which I eventually became president of
>Moby dick - read this a month or two into my remote-work / traveling the country stint, which was only supposed to be for 3 months but now is going on a year. The first chapter’s musings about “healthy young men” having within their soul a craving for adventure, and having to do so around this age when they get a little “low around the mouth”. Confirmed that what I’m doing is worth the drawbacks because I’d be more miserable living in one place and doing the same shit every day

Other minor life-changing (more realistically, perspective-changing) works that have had a big impact on me is: War & Peace (serfdom vs aristocracy, work vs thought), One Hundred Years of Solitude (third world superstition and thought patterns), Suttree (glorification of folly and observance), Stoner (“chapterizing” life events), Steppenwolf (don’t take yourself seriously, you are a joke and you suffer because you take seriously what God made for fun).

How do you know that? Fewer things can change your life totally. An apple fell on Newton's head and triggered a long chain of thoughts that led to the creation of modern physics (inb4 I know the story is fictional, smartass, it's an example). I recently got fired cause I got into a fight at work for, in retrospect, no real reason. The entire course of my life was altered in 2 minutes flat. You think spending thousands of hours delving into the ideas of great men won't change you with or without your consent? You're a fucking idiot.
