/lit/, my guilty pleasure is reading pop-sci books. I just got a bundle of joy by this classy motherfucker in the mail and I'd like to know what I should read first:

Cosmos
Pale Blue Dot
Demon Haunted World

The choice is yours...

The middle one. who cares? Fuck off you cunt. Enjoy your book. I like Carl Sagan, but I think you're a fucking prick.

Love,

You keep using that word. I don't think you know what it means.

As a long-time disciple of Sagan, I found Demon Haunted World a little boring, only because it's mostly about trying to convince people about the magic of science, when he only has to tell me once with a fatherly smile on his face. There's definitely a load of awesome stuff in there, but it means plowing through a lot of redundancy.
