Agreed except for Kant. You should read him in order to understand the gatekeeper of non-pseud academia, Hegel

I really dislike Hegel and think he has nothing of value to offer, but I wouldn't call him a pseud, which is why I did not list him too. But you are right, it is good to read Kant if your goal is Hegel. He's still a pseud though.

Hegel and Kant are not just wrong, they're extremely wrong. Wishful thinkers, that thought if you described idealism that would somehow make it true.

you are never gonna make it if you go off start naming individual pseud cases in [current year]
basically >>21053140 isnt wrong
what you need is a process, a method, an algorithm that works at scale..

i like to filter pseuds out by using predictive power
if a work has no predictive power, its pseud
since 99.9% of philosophy has no predictive power, it is safe to discard 99.9% of it as pseudo intellectual >>>/x/ trash with 0 academic or other value
psychology, sociology, political science, management, business, law, stuff with studies in its name, all this crap has as much predictive power as gypsy fortune telling, and is therefore also garbage that no one with triple digit iq can respect or take seriously

Christians hate reading the bible but love talking like they did. They are the ultimate poseurs.
They reduced the bible into a quote compilation thay they either copy-paste on facebook posts or in 4chan debates depending on age brackets.

Just because pseuds are more likely to read something doesn't make it pseudcore and if you can't tell the difference you're a pseud yourself.

Any book written in the continental philosophical tradition. Just empty pretensions and a contradictory motivation between “seeking truth” and masquerading with poetic or obfuscatory writing. Nietzsche is a centerpiece of this retardation.

Generally pseudcore works as a heuristic for books / authors for that kid from highschool / uni who thinks he has the best ideas and that that is what gives him value, despite having no actual experience or knowledge base besides mainstream social media / hivemind recommendations. He is always looking for some external guidance / shortcut through life to being wise or conventionally seen as intelligent, so things like meditations, as the intro to stoicism anyone with a passing interest could at least get into, touted by business bros and self help, is the peak short book to make you feel like you're into philosophy and have checked the box on your personality, despite nearly nobody actually taking his advice (which originally was just to be to himself) to heart or actually critically analyzing any points made beyond the surface level. Meditations is arguably the gateway pseud book because of its accessibility and ubiquitous nature. In short for pseuds (such as myself), sizzle > steak

>>21053119
Jung, but moreso Peterson
Kant
Neech
Schopenhauer
DFW
Nu-atheism
Secondary philosophy texts
Self-help
Popular Science
Sociology (especially pua / relationship theory type armchair sociology)
Marx
Rand
And most classics that operate primarily on reputation

If pretending that shallow and illiterate christianity is a localized problem makes you feel better go ahead and cope, but in truth fervent and sincere christian faith is dying all over the world. Nowadays christianity is just a side note of being conservative or old.

I have no fucking idea. New Age retard, maybe? I know (don't believe, know) that the supernatural exists. But I'm not really sure what it means yet, or what I should do to honour it - if anything. I also do a number of meditations, if that's relevant?
