Anybody read the books after watching the show? Or maybe vice versa? Does watching the show ruin the books?

Ice and Fire is a long ass fucking series but I've heard great things about it

Any of you niggers actually read it? Worth?

The last two books are unironically worse than seasons 5-8, but the original trilogy is worth it.
Overall I think GoT seaons 1-4 are the best experience of the story.
