This is likely a troll answer but he’s not wrong. LOTR evokes everything World War-era Britain claims to have been standing for, but beyond that a celebration of western values, morals, and beauty.
Martin and his work reflects the values of modern America and by extension, all liberal western democracies: a celebration of the grotesque and violent with substantial loads of perverse sexual content.
