Almost every great philosopher we have photos of has a big forehead.
But sculptures and paintings of ancient philosophers almost all have normal or small foreheads. Didn't the artists know basic physiognomy?

Growing that moustache was one of the best decisions Nietzsche made, very iconic look same as Marx's big ass hair, but is funny that the reason for doing it was very autistic, iirc he explains it on Daybreak. It was something like keeping people away from trying to approach him lol
I think Nietzsche was a genius philosopher but also kind of a stupid person at the same time, if that makes sense. Who the fuck thinks eating only fruits and red meat everyday does you any good?

It was very common at the time to grow out your facial hair. Most military men did so, as did many other writers, men in government, and so on. It was like the 19th century version of punk clothing, it was done to make a statement and go against the status quo, which was becoming increasingly liberal / feminist even then.

I can grow a beard fine but I can’t fucking grow a mustache. I fucking hate it I want to grow a cowboy stache so badly, all I can do is chinstraps basically. Or that thing muslims do.
