How do I into the Vedic Tradition as a Westerner without either:

Advaita initiation is traditionally reserved for Brahmins who become monks and the traditional lineages of Kashmir Shaivism dont seem to survive anymore but you can be initiated into different traditions of Shaivism or Shaktism in India/Nepal/etc that are still around today if you go to their temples/centers since they are mostly based on the Agamas/Tantras and not Vedas and they typically dont care at all about caste in relation to initiation; schools like Sri Vidya and Veerashaivism and other ones like them are examples of this

Practically every Indian tradition discusses pratyaksha as well that's not something which is unique to buddhism
