It is poetic and profound though. Am I incorrect to label it as feminine? Though, strangely with Nietzsche, I get an unusual sense of clarity in his aphorism. The particular clarity of which I imagine was what he was trying to embody from Herakleitos’ use of aphorism.

I think an aphorism is neither unclear nor definite. It depicts a stratum of meanings malleable to different contexts. But the stratum is palpable and definite. Not unclear. I think this is what Nietzsche sensed in Herakleitos and I have always been subconsciously mesmerized by aphorism without being able to consciously pin down why. Mesmerized more-so than any other prose I have ever read. Nietzsche’s words soar in a way where others can only, at-times, glide.
