What would be the best book/books to read Conan

Is this the best book you can get, or would that be the Del Ray version? I am looking for an unedited version of Howards story's.

I don't know what's the best edition, but you want to get one that has all the stories published in the Weird Tales when Howard was still alive, as well as Red Nails and Hyborean Age, since those two were approved for print by Howard himself. I have one just like that, but it's obviously edited (translated). You might want to check the archive, I remember threads on this exact subject.

I have read online that they are edited by some dude, so i am not sure if i want to get this book. I will probably buy the Del Rey edition

Perhaps you are thinking of another version. This one is perfectly fine and by far the best, it only contains works of Howard himself in their original form.

I have that edition, it's really nice, but apparently the books edited by Del Rey have the ultimate version of Howard's work. An anon said something like that a few months ago, or he was just coping because he couldn't afford a nicer edition.

Get the Del Rey trilogy for sure. Has all of his Conan stories in the order he wrote them, no edits, no stories from other authors, includes drafts, nice illustrations, and are good quality paperbacks physically.
