It's almost like not doing those things is way more profitable than doing them. I don't know about "christian values" but how many murderers live a genuinely good life? Chances are youll end up a felon with zero rights. Even if you enjoyed the act itself, which you probably won't because most people aren't sociopaths, the costs/penalities farcexceed the temporary reward.
I'm not even an egoist, but this is by far the lamest argument against egoism I've ever read.
