Anything by Tom Robbins. But also Gravitys Rainbow I found to be very funny and witty.

I've read a couple of meme self-published comedy books that I really enjoyed. The funniest published book I've read is probably The Last Dog On Earth by Adrian J Walker, also one of my favourite books ever just in general.

Don Quixote has its moments too.
