He is not that hard to understand. You just have to be aware his writing style is inspired by deleuze-guttarian schizoanalysis and must be read in a different way from normal philosophical writing. What you need is basic grounding in kant, psychoanalysis, some marxist thought, and just general philosophy, and to REALLY understand deleuze-guttari properly.
You can look at the "The story goes like this" meme and dismiss it as nonsense, but if you actually read it properly not a single word from there is schizobabble. Make sure to not just read nick because he is the big meme guy and look into the rest of the CCRU (fisher, xenofeminism is important, etc)
