I'm really disappointed how creepypasta has devolved to mean "first person scary story", when the whole charm of it is how "believable" they're supposed to be. As someone who listens to creepypastas on youtube, the ratio of proper creepypastas has really gone down.

If they're not already considered it, they should be. Even if they don't scare me they bring me genuine joy. I'm a sucker for some classics like:

>The Rake
>Mr. Widemouth
>Candle Cove
>Anasi's Goatman Story

I liked psychosis because it was about a based schizo and him gouging out his own eyes to avoid being infected by jewish parasites was the best way to end the story.

i like the one where the guy yells at the other guy
"That's not a dog, run it over!"

but I think nothing tops the absolute trashfire that is slenderman and all his bullshit. he's uninspired cringe, and all the lore is convoluted bullshit.

scp went down hill once it got into the "god" level bs. everything that gets to this point becomes more about making my favorite over powered oc than about creating creative, creepy monsters. Once anything gets to this point the stories that come from it become generic battles of big thing vs another big thing solved by an ex machina, the power of friendship or fantasy eugenics (satan was my dad so I am inherently stronger than you type shit) which are inherently boring.

this is why I cant get into those "demon hunter" "cryptid catcher" and other such shit that I believe stem from the scp inspiration.

They are more folklore, than literature.
Again, there's a term "oral literature", but I donk know if it has any sense or is it just new buzzword made up by liberal arts majors to count native stories as literature for whatever reason.

according to encyclopedia britannica folklore and folk literature are interchangeable classifications.

Funny how fast that happened. I remember when some anon first recommended scp and then i hit the Cain article and it dawned on me that i was reading gay fanfic. Sure enough the spergs on scp created a soap opera tier storyline for that gay shit.

that's old stuff. now scp is even worse. most of the new articles are literally tranny articles, endless 4th wall breaks, researchers talking to each other with petty moralities as if they were some corporate basedboys at the bar, attempt at making epic Marvel-like quips...
they even created an anomalous organization thst creates SCPs.. which is literal (as in literal, with fake discord screencaps annexed) discord trannies ewho create "anomalous" meme. there are hundreds of scps made by this organization alone lol
the last barely tolerable scp I saw was this
https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-6370
there's also RPC authority, a splinter website by ex authors that got kicked out because they downvoted an article that was literally an homestuck fanfiction. they make articles that are more like the original SCPs, like this: http://rpcauthority.wikidot.com/rpc-033 (very fun read)

oh no they broke away from the original case file format in favor of dialogues? thats pretty bad for something that is meant to be a catalogue of inspiration for stories. Im not surprised at all. I stopped reading them once I noticed scp was catching on with the creepy pasta community (not just the writers but the commenters as well). I knew that shit was going to start getting real shit real quick since anyone could submit or make a fake scp and upload it somewhere else with traction due to the budding popularity. I just wish that popularity didnt bleed into all the new "creepy pasta" that have been coming out (as another anon said, they have lost their fun arg believability). is the off shoot with the original authors any good?

These waves resulted in minor server disturbances, which removed the daily post limit on a single blog
I didnt expect it to actually be like this but now that I have had some time to think about it im not sure why I was surprised. its gotta be a shit post.

I agree, many are just sad attempts at le epic cosmic entity that would make Lovecraft have a heart attack but I still enjoy some like 3812 that toy with interesting concepts. Plus the one universe where the bible events are explained from a fantasy-history POV, basically the whole cactusverse, that one is one of the most enjoyable. Also i've found that listening to them makes them a lot better than just reading through. The guy from The Exploring Series has such a nice voice.

yeah that part irks me as well but the concept itself is interesting. also the entity might've just used him as a vessel or something. no god would ever chose to reside inside a nigger.

>you will never be lying on your bed with Griezmann just fooling around and hold him down and start to tickle him so he squeals and laughs and wriggles and says no and tries to escape but its too cute so you carry on but then after a minute his eyes suddenly widen and he goes stiff and tells you to stop in a different tone so you know he really means it and he rushes off to the bathroom and then comes back looking really embarrassed and you say you're sorry and ask him what the matter is and he cant look you in the eye and quietly tells you that you made him pee himself a tiny bit but you just laugh and pull him back onto the bed and kiss him and for a moment he resists and pretends to be annoyed but he sees the funny side too and kisses you back and then you slide your hand around his waist and he flinches a little thinking you're going to start tickling him again but you don't you just carry on kissing him and he soon relaxes and then you fuck him rough in ass and blow your load down his throat
