I tended to check out of o-ring/D&E dogfight threads pretty quickly, but from a feminist-scholar-of-internet-trash perspective it was kind of great to see that kind of pointless, ego-fueled intellectual dickwaving coming from a woman.

SHG was just an all-around pretty wonderful presence; I think he went anon as opposed to simply peacing on /lit/ cold turkey. Incidentally, I suspected him of being a woman posting under cover of the sexless "guy" for a long time, but he posted a picture of his bookshelf once and it read pretty authentically nerdboy, so whatever. Guy Pearce and Tom Harper were both worthess. That bald dude who lived in China whose name escapes me at the moment was also worthless, but I miss him anyway.

Sherlock Holmes Guy accidentally got involved in some random tripfaggotry that turned into Reichenbach....

Also the best tripfag ever was a one or two-threader by the name of Ghost of Mary McCarthy. That Irish minx fucked /lit/'s shit up and it was glorious. I wish she posted regularly (or non-anonymously) though I daresay she's probably busy at a decent uni.
