then he moved to china without offering any explanation
then he wrote how capitalism is actually an ai all along that sent itself from the future into the 16th century, and used all the philosophy big names to justify this (i never understood that part but it sounded convincing while i was reading it), and this ai is not only going to exterminate humanity but there is also nothing you can do about this other than accelerating this process, because if you wanted to prevent the ai known as capitalism from doing its thing you had to start in the 16th century, in the 21st capitalism is already self aware and its basically too late

that's my take on nick land, im not sure if i understood everything he wrote but i had a lot of fun reading it

It's funny to me that this is supposedly sentient ai capitalism when it is actually the flood of the midwits. Before mass communication technology existed the sphere of ideas was gatekept by the elite. Hell for centuries the proles weren't even preached at in a language they spoke. This bifurcation of roles insured the midwits went about their animal lives while the elites tinkered with the sphere of ideas and drip fed the midwits examples of higher plane experiences to emulate. Mass communication tech gave every midwit a megaphone. Our decline is the logical result of the thought sphere being ruled by the median instead of outliers. There isn't some time traveling sentient being pulling the strings its real humanity unchained and the results are both easily exploitable for profit and a massive detriment to overall health and wellbeing. Because the median favors crack like condensed meanings that do not mesh into a fully realized human. Life exists in isolated 30s tik tok bursts that amalgamize to display characteristics of literal psychosis. We've lost interest in cohesive narratives because midwits are meaning crack addicts.
