Why do I get the feeling these two will be the last works of literature made for a long time?

I've read Blood Meridian 2x when I was 15 and I absolutely fucking loved it. Can't wait to check out his other works after I finish War and Peace(I am 625/697 pages done), though these 2>>20700257 would definitely be put on hold for a while.

I know. Tolstoy comparing the retreat of Napoleon after the burning of Moscow and the significantly stronger Russians pursuing them with a animal-and-whip analogy was pretty funny.

Also, Kutuzov was the real great.

Oh no mccarthysisters. It's just going to be another generic lost story

>A SUNKEN JET. NINE PASSENGERS. A MISSING BODY.

>The Passenger is the story of a salvage diver, haunted by loss, afraid of the watery deep, pursued for a conspiracy beyond his understanding, and longing for a death he cannot reconcile with God.

Nah. I didn't care how deep it was trying to be. His lack of storytelling is aggrevating and he's a pretentious slag. Thank God he's on the verge of dying any day now LOL!

What's the point of bait if you are too lazy to be subtle? You're wasting your time, as well as ours.
