Inherent Vice is top 3 Pynchon alongside Gravity's Rainbow and Mason & Dixon.

Bleeding Edge. I think it has a more interesting setting and theme. Inherent Vice seems like a re-run of his 60s work.

I liked Inherent Vice it was fun to read. That sort whacky and all over the place style made sense because of the setting and the weed not sure if I enjoyed reading it as much in Bleeding Edge.

The setting is way more interesting in Bleeding Edge though. Still thinking about everything couple weeks later. Like how much does Pynchon know?
