Alternative solutions to world problems

I'm curious, are there any philosophers, political philosophers or just general theorists who have developed a model of trying to create an ideal society or fix society not from a economic or policy making point of view but rather from a spiritual point and convincingly so. I'm never too convinced by philosophers who try to construct some narrative by seeing similarities between great civs like Egypt, Rome, indus valley etc. I want something more objective and convincing with as little conjecture or pressuposition as possible. Perhaps a few case studies, good critique of economic/policy orientated forms of fixing society etc. Just something that's well informed and not written like the insane schizophrenic rambling of a middle aged man locked in his basement. Something more objective and convincing.

once you're a bureaucrat with fiat you realize it has no value, so maybe significant currency depression and/or public education could fix things. demand something other than money for your work and your work might be a lot better. use money on perpetual things that never depreciate in value.

well that's what i mean. banks have zero reason to exist when a currency is people-backed. the best thing to come from globalization has been the realization that states look increasingly unsustainable as currently modeled and the conglomerates that help made this happen are not transparent enough to be a trustworthy alternative people would turn to. world problems require people solutions and people are just too fucking dumb right now, imagine if everyone had a basic grasp of finance and computer science. the only major long term problem we have left as a species is food, water, energy and population control.
