This isn’t just eternal recurrence, if that’s what you’re suggesting

It literally is as explained in that picture.

read the conclusion at the bottom. It’s not talking about recurrence, but reincarnation

you were in an eternal sleep before you were born ?

what is the name of the theory in the picture ?

also, your theory is half baked and unevolved, the truth is more complex and multidimensional than you think.

you are conscious yet you live on the involuntary, unconscious muscles of the heart and lungs, who decide your life and death, controlled by unconscious electricity. this higher consciousness and awareness is just manuality.

if manuality is life then is automaticity death ?

the theory in the pic seems like it was last worked on in 1940

are plants conscious ? your question then is not actually life but consciousness, both are different.

It literally uses the word "re-occur". The actual argument in this picture is no different from what Zarathustra talks about.

Eternal recurrence just relies on the assumption that the physical universe will repeat itself given enough time. This image is talking about identity. We are consciousness itself, not just bound to one body. There is no reason why someone born after we die is not also us. So you will die and be born again with a completely different body.

So if my concious faculties are winnowing closer to the point of death, why does it the unfurl to a robust concious state after? By what law? Wouldn't it make more sense to follow the winnowing concious state onwards?

-death/non-existence aren't states
-yes, death is transformation
-even so, it's a major assumptive leap to think that consciousness persists through the death transformation (this would presume that either the thermodynamic arrow of our universe is a circle or else a mystical non-physical notion of consciousness—neither of which are empirically indicated)

Conclusion: This isn't a theory, it's just a re-arrangement of unexamined assumptions.
