King Arthur is the biggest LARPstory ever crafted by the western judeo-christians, a fairy tale built upon the bronze age Celtic epics where the heroic values of Cu Chulainn and Lugh of the Long Hand are replaced by the naive and servile principles of the life-denying cult centered around a dead jew nailed to a cross. The nasty monks who created this tale of deception couldn't even handle the weight of changing the names of the Celtic deities which were turned into shallow parodies of their real characters, but instead opted for an embarassing fanfiction where the Goddess of war Morgana is demoted to the sister of Arthur and the famed Welsh druid Myrddin becomes a senile and lustful magician who bears none of the positive qualities of his real life counterpart. But what's even more deplorable about the Arthurian fables is that in both the popular and the least known cycles there's a clear aim in wanting to link the story of the filthy desert tribes of Israel to the royal Celtic lineages of antiquity, we've got Joseph of Arimathea, the sand nigger who buried rabbi Yeshua the (probable) son of Joseph who is rendered into a traveler bringing judeo-christianity to the British Isles. Joseph's arrival in Britain is (of course) never attested by any documents of the age he lived in or dating to some centuries after his death, and is ultimately to be considered a giant fucking LARPfest fabricated by the christian authorities of the time. In wanting to inculcate the idea that Europeans descend from jews, the judeo-christians didn't only fail miserably, but they have also proven to be prone to LARPing much more than the non-christians they accuse of apostasy for returning to their ancestral religion. TL;DR christcucks are massive LARPers, they will not read this thread but they will seethe upon pointing out how sad and laughable their attempts at LARPing have been through the centuries.

The advantage of paganism is that there is much more spiritual latitude and room for people to interact with the sacred in a real way. Christianity's claim to superiority rests on its total universality and impartiality, but it seems that this impossible standard inevitably leads thinking people to atheism and a disenchanted world all per its internal logic. The projected image of what Christianity can and should be, the force that is the origin and conclusion of all spirit, seems to find real Christianity wanting and the result is ecumenism, then secularism, then whatever we have now. Something like the ethics of the New Testament but without any of the theological content?
I can see why Christianity beat paganism but to me it seems like it also destroyed itself. The basic monotheistic perspective seems to bend the mind towards a desire for the absolute, the objective, the eternal, and that's fertile ground for either scientistic enlightenment shit or perennialist perspectival shit. I don't know how to fix these problems

Modern people just like imposing the view that Merlin was based on druids for some reason. In fact, there is no evidence for it. The earliest accounts of him make him out to be into one of those wild Old Testament kind of prophets. Druids hadn’t existed among Britons for almost 700 years when he popped up.

Christianity is a continuation of the Platonic-Hermetic tradition. The perennial philosophy is baked right into it. It was just never for the profane to know. Look at the Gospel of Thomas; the sayings in there are altered in the Bible to make it less esoteric. Most likely to help create a religion for the masses, which for all intents and purposes it became.

That’s because it wasn’t based on her. Besides the name, Morgana in the story is more of a Virgin Mary like character than a goddess of war like character.

Modern interpretation of him. The earliest sources describe him as being like a “wild” Old Testament kind of prophet and has a lot of their biblical attributes. He became more wizardry then he originally was by later French and English authors.
