Any books that say something similar to pic related?
The greentext is a bit crude and I have seen some better ones on the same topic (can't find them) but it's essentially how I've always felt.

Climate change is real. It is observable in nature as the various species struggle to adapt to it or perish. We are in the midst of a global extinction event.

But please, continue to bury your faggy little head into the sand. Can't do anything about it anyway.

THia doesn’t require a book, just critical thinking.
Really sad how environmentalists have shifted to advocating for climate awareness instead of the environment, people focus endlessly on the fucking temperature of the planet instead of the huge garbage patch just floating in the Pacific ir companies dumping waste in rivers.
Climate change is a scam, but pollution and waste is an actual issue that gets drowned out by screeching about temperature and sea levels.

Yes the average temperature is rising, but what they don't tell you is that it has been rising for hundreds of years. It has also been rising in other planets of our galaxy. This is a natural phenomenon. It is not man made. Climate change is a complete non-issue.

Animals are dying because of oil spills and waste in rivers, not because it’s a bit hotter in summer, but environmentalists don’t talk about that anymore and instead just focus on the temperature.

>It is not man-made
That's not the argument, the argument is that the process is ACCELERATED by manmade activities you fucking dipshit which is clearly demonstrable via pollution, greenhouse gases deforestation etc.

You clearly don't understand the issue at all, can't say that I'm surprised.

Not saying that isn't true and should be completely disregarded
But couldn't thinking and acting more locally be helpful when compared to just trying to decrease a very abstract CO2 footprint? Taking care of your local forests, waterways and fauna instead of buying the latest EV to decrease your carbon footprint by x?
Decreasing consumerism instead of buying "green" versions of things you don't need? For example someone I know bought some "green" cutlery and lunchbox to take to work. They really didn't like it when I asked them why they didn't take the metal cutlery they already have at home and a normal tupperware they already had.

There will always be retards and greedy companies. There will always be politicians with private jets, that doesn't invalidate the issue itself.

You sound like a boomer, boomers are why future generations will continue to have less and less.

There should be a hell reserved specifically for people such as yourself.

again, I'm not a climate change denier, just wondering if there is more to it
plus governments are already completely focused on CO2 reduction, so it's not like I'm bringing that down, justt wondering if there is something else that could be done
also, if there's one or two books that you think completely BTFO my opinion please recommend them

TF you talking about? People complain about oil pipelines all the time. Did you forget all the memes about the Amazon on fire and the deforestation there? All the talk about reducing single use plastics? Also OP pic is retarded, if you actually talk to anyone involved in climate change awareness they are all environmentalists too. Thinking there's an actual distinction between the two is a clear sign you don't leave your house.

Climate doom is neoliberal eschatology. It's a way to obfuscate the reason why your standard of living continues to plummet, and to be okay with it because you are doing something for the "greater good". Any time you hear something like that, it should raise a red flag in your head.

"Live in the pod, and eat the bug" isn't just a meme; it's prophecy.

Those are sea creatures, though. If you choose to live life in the water and you get wiped out by a 0.7 degree rise in temperature, that's on you.

So you are saying that animals that die because of climate change don't matter, but animals that die from direct pollution like oil spills do? Why are you separating them into different categories when the root cause is the same. Corporations with minimal government restrictions are polluting the earth and increasing the average yearly temperature.
