Not really looking for anything anti-capitalism or anti-communism either. I dislike capitalism, but if I'm going to live under it might as well make the most out of it. As such, I'd like to read books that would aid me in doing so. I feel like a lot of those "get rich quick!!" books are full of incoherent bs, so yea I'm looking for something practical

Psycadelics are increasingly being decriminalized/legalized as a wagie distraction to keep workers enamered and infatuated with hallucinations and delusions of grandeur while the ruling class continue to pick their pockets and suck their life force.

Same reason weed is suddenly legal everywhere, keeps the wagies blissed out and non confrontational. A workforce that is exhausted and on the edge of a nervous breakdown from skyrocketibg cost of living and stagnant wages, craves the means to disconnect when work is over and this make the majority even less likely to riot over inequality and economic oppression.

Caffeine and the fear to keep them productive and well behaved then weed/alcohol/psycadelics to keep them tuned out while they're off the clock...

You see the problem with reducing history to materialism denies metaphysics, and the fact so many people deny Gods existence is because they live a life of misery, that's why they more so identify with Satan, who just like Marx was the so called "great liberator"

Are there any people presently not living under capitalism? If so, in what ways are their lives different/better?

I mean there are a bunch of countries that are pretty socialist/communist such as North Korea. Either way what I meant was that whenever I see capitalism mentioned it is to criticize it, rightfully so. However, if we're all living in it anyway and we can't do much about it for the most part, then why not make the most out of it? Investing etc. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to stuff like this so I was hoping to get some recommendations to get me started. Doesn't necessarily have to be investing-related, just anything on coming to terms with this horrid system. I tried reading Atlas Shrugged but it got boring

>And to aspire to live quietly, and to mind your own affairs, and to work with your hands, as we instructed you, so that you may walk properly before outsiders and be dependent on no one.
1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

This is what the international capitalists fear the most. Avoiding their purposely addictive products to keep you a slave. Not consuming products you don't need. Pirating all their books. Taking walks in nature. Good conversations with friends. You can choose to opt-out of their system.

Anybody who remembers what being under the influence of a psychedelic is like, knows you're wrong. I do not know how to relay this information perfectly to you, as you cannot understand a level of perception you have not been at. Obviously your logic makes sense for regular drugs, but classic serotonergic psychedelics do not do what you think they do. If you want to refute that, don't bother responding to my post unless its for others, I'm busy today. Use the scientific method and experiment for yourself

I'm going to samefag to wrap things up. Yes, psychedelics can be a distraction for the working class; But so can books. Yet both can also be used to increase brain connectivity. It is up to the human to choose to be a king or a peon. For example, Steve Jobs raves about his past usage of LSD. It is entirely up to the individual to put in the work to make changes in their life.
