How do I submit to magazines/outlets? I have short stories but not sure what to do next with them. I'm new to the business (VERY new). Many thanks.

Look for who's calling for submissions. They'll often post calls for submissions on social media, so check there, even if you don't have social media yourself.

Submittable is also a submissions portal a lot of magazines, websites, and journals use:

Thank you! How do you find appropriate outlets through social media? Do you search by hashtag? or perhaps you know people who know of outlets?

I have beta readers for my 4th draft in 90 days. On the 3rd draft of one novel and finished 1st draft of another, got a few short stories done. Nothing published yet, I have a list of agents and publishers I want to look at but if I got too long I will just self or indie publish. I don't think I will have to resort to that. Also I met a screenwriter after helping his friend learn how to start writing. I'm actually putting in the hours now to finish this. I don't want to keep saying "unpublished" for much longer.

Is jame ellis from here? I read his book about Nick Land and liked it a lot. I want to check out Gardner's works but any passage I see from his stuff is filled gramatical errors that would get on my nerves after 25 pages
