any books that refute my opinions? I literally can't refute Myself and My Opinions. I think this is the end of the road.

true, reading is dead media, lets only watch video-essays and consume more new media. Especially if its anti-capitalism, that shit gets loads of views and generates revenue.

i won't watch the video but i can't imagine it interprets well...
due to his education in philology he often emphasized the text beneath the text or what otherwise underwrites a given text. also to be considered is rhythm which modulates within a given text and can vary drastically from one author to another. he favored the slow apprehension which could provide us with more lucid thoughts regarding the material at hand-- opposed to the value of quickness in apprehension which has continued to linger in some cultures.
there is also the notion of enlightenment through reading, the scholarly type. this is dissuaded but to lead one to 'stop reading'...

Why's that?

fren neetchan in some aphorisms mentions that the thoughts of others could infect you and control you
by reading the books that others wrote you are subjecting yourself to their influence

>>20582285
ironic since he literally stole that from Schopenhauer

there is always the possibility of subjugation, of being influenced to the point of slavishness, of encountering a force whose quantity outmatches one's own... i never got an ethic of eternal isolation from his texts. to turn away is to return at some point

not consciously
could one not see neetsan's thought as Promethean rather than authentic?
what type is there other than reactive?

I can't understand what you're asking for, if it's even a question in the first place.

How do Nietzscheans manage to suffer themselves?

>> No.20582389

>>20582233
Nietzsche did recognize he had a period where he read a lot though. So idk what this video might try to imply but Nietzsche read a lot before being able to rest with his thoughts. So don't be a lazy fag

The knowledge from these video essays have trickled down from books, they would not exist without someone having read something at some point. Read if you want to find knowledge for yourself, don't read if you want other people to decide what you'll know for you
