Also, I think it's probably best to just meet a Vodou practitioner irl if you want to learn about it or start practicing. It's "kitchen magic"...Well, that's what I would call it, I don't know if that's a real term. But it's very intuitive, associative stuff. Like, don't let people get your hair or steal your shoes, because then they can do things to you. Make a shrine for your patron loa and give them alcohol and their favorite foods sometimes...that sort of stuff

oh and don't buy stupid shit from the internet because it's labeled as voodou crap...you have everything you need at home or with whatever group of practitioners you meet. candles, hair, fruit, piss, animals, etc. all pretty freely available to you.

If you join up with some people you're going to have nights spent in a drunken frenzy or dance and singing and music with them while the leader woman gets possessed by a loa. I don't actually practice but I know somebody who does. It's not my cup of tea, but I do like the sympathetic magic aspects of it.

ive studied hoodoo quite thoroughly, but in my area finding a practitioner of it is quite impossible.

But this is for educational purposes only, so please, at the very least, find something in ebook form. ive searched everywhere for books on practice, all I ever find is shit-tier quality bs.
