I don't think anyone but a few ultra-orthodox yids still denies that the Zohar was written in 13th century Spain from a movement that started in 12th century France inspired by the more dodgy sides of Christian Neoplatonism and probably some medieval heresies as well.
The yids did add all the bullshit about coping with their exile by interpreting reunion with the divine through the lens of rebuilding zionism. They also added the whole God-is-a-schizo-tranny-trying-to-fuck-xirself thing that runs through the Zohar.

I am honestly at a loss to explain it in a better way within the confines of the 4chan post.
The rabbis use explicit sexual imagery to show G-d's internal relations. In Christianity you'd have theories of the Trinity, but Jews had to to take over some of the later ideas while refusing the Trinity.
In Kabballah some parts of God -because God has parts for them unlike Catholic theology even Neoplatonist- are separated and the struggle for their longing/reunion is often seen in terms of lust and sexual embrace, with some parts being "feminine" and other "masculine".
