read whatever you got near you and read it to the end. then you can expand from there you might naturally rabbit hole by finding things similar or different relative to what you read. it takes a while but you eventually get in the flow, just try not to worry about it too much-- whatever you can do to get a kickstart is fine enough. works good for philosophy/history things but im sure can be applied to fiction.
