don't, this helps with comprehension and without it you will understand what you read less. If you want to speed read then just force yourself to move your eyes faster and you'll realize that your subvoice has just sped up and will ignore words every now and then.

Chewing helps.
When reading, you are NOT ONLY psychicly voicing the words in your mind, but ALSO pseudo-forming them with your tongue.....SO STOP forming words in your mouth!
